Monday Morning Reset

I came across the quote from Steve Jobs:  


"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."


Work aside, as I have a pretty good day job, I started thinking about this in terms of my health.  I'm doing okay.  I've been eating pretty well, but I have been enjoying life a little too much.  So I decided that I would do a 3 day reset.  I'm going to do a healthier version of a slim fast diet with Shakeology.   If you don't know about Shakeology - read up on it from that link.  It's like no other protein powder there is.  


Four shakes during the day and a healthy dinner.  I will be drinking green tea and lots of plain water.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I don't expect it to be easy, but I do think I need it to reset my hunger levels.  I seem to be hungry all of the time.  I find that doing this once in a while (and never for more than 3 days!) is key to managing those levels.
